Ocha is Japanese for ‘green tea’ while ‘bella’ is Italian for beautiful. Milan-born executive chef William Di Nardo believes that this seemingly unlikely combination makes for an interesting restaurant style − the simplicity of Italian cuisine complemented by the innovativeness of popular Japanese pub food.
Such a unique concept naturally calls for a distinctive interior. Designed by Willis Kusuma Architects, Ocha & Bella’s décor has two zones: the edgy indoor space and the inviting, relaxing outdoor area. An eclectic Moulin Rouge-styled signage made of copper and steel also hangs above the outdoor bar, adding to the rustic charm of the place.
