Managed by the same team that created popular restaurants Loewy and Cork & Screw in Jakarta, Union is a luxurious take on an American retro diner. A strong 1920s America décor style is used throughout the establishment; think darkframed windows, deep brown parquet flooring, white-tiled pillars, and a hodgepodge collection of black-and-white photographs along the wall. 

Antique mirrors and aged furniture further lend to the vintage feel of the place, but it is the Americaninspired menu that will ultimately draw the crowds. Created by Adhika Maxi together with pastry chef and local celebrity Karen Carlotta, the food is heavy on eastern influences, offering luxurious takes on local staples.
