In recent years Singaporeans have been flocking to cocktail bars; many of which have failed to stand the test of time (and taste).
Boldly entering the scene is Drink Culture – a charming enclave within the heritage Chinatown district. Sample the bespoke cocktails; they will not disappoint. (The Kyoho grape martini and chocolate flambé come highly recommended.) What is most impressive, though, is that interior designer Riston Foo stripped the previous tenant’s restaurant set-up and created Drink Culture’s white-and-black Victorian-rustic décor complete with hand-painted bar chairs within 14 days. Also, ladies get four complimentary drinks on Wednesday nights and yes, there is valet drive-home service.
