Sitting on the eighth floor of the Four Points by Sheraton
hotel is amBar, a new addition to Bangkok’s ever-expanding nightlife scene. The
bar is named after the colour amber and is fittingly bathed in warm, antique gold
lighting throughout. A Middle Eastern ambience was chosen for the design
direction, complete with faux rattan lounge seating and circular day beds with
soft cushions.
The hotel’s timber-decked infinity pool is set at the corner of
the rooftop, flanked by a dramatic LED-lighted rectangular archway that sets
the tone for the entire venue – a little bit mysterious, but very inviting.
